Heriot-Watt was the first institution in Scotland to admit women into STEM programmes. Since opening our doors in Malaysia, we’ve made it possible for women in the ASEAN region to gain access to quality teaching and learning in the field of Engineering and Science. Committed to widening access, and reducing the gender gap in this field, we have developed this scholarship especially for girls who want to pursue a career in Engineering and Science.

• 30 July 2021 (for September intake)

Criteria

Applicant must meet all the below requirements

• Malaysian
• Female
• Meets academic requirements below
• Academic Requirements (undergraduate level)
  • HWUM Foundation Award ‘A’ average/ A levels ABB / STPM ABB / IB 30 pts / CPU 80% / ATAR 80% or equivalent
• Academic Requirements (foundation level)
  • SPM/IGCSE 7As and above
