Paving the way for the next leaders! BSIB Rising Star Scholarship Programme is designed to support promising students in their academic pursuits and career paths with Berjaya Sompo Insurance. We believe education is the key to success and are committed to supporting the next generation of leaders.

Application period: Now until 15 June 2024

• Scholarship worth up to RM20,000 p.a*
• Internship programme opportunity.**
• Open to any programme, learning mode and semester.

*Up to RM20,000.00 per annum per person (100% tuition fees or as a top-up cost of living allowances or maximum RM20,000.00, whichever is lower).
**Acceptance to the internship programme with BSIB is based on the current internship quota.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open for Malaysians only.
• Open for Pre-U (foundation or matriculation), Diploma and Degree Programs in any field.
• Applicants from households earning below RM5,000.00 per month.
• Applicants must be at the age of 23 or below as of 2024.

Academic Requirements, applicants may apply based on either one of the below categories:

• A minimum CGPA of 3.00 or above must be maintained until graduation.
• For Categories 1, 2 and 3, applicants must have a confirmed placement for a Pre-U, Diploma or Degree program in any public and private Institution in Malaysia.
• For Category 4, applicants are to submit the latest semester results and a verification letter from the Institution.
• Applications must be submitted using the Application Form here and together with the supporting documents (refer to each category).
